Instead of partnering with a telecom operator, LG Australia has decided to launch LG Optimus 2x in the country unlocked. The smartphone will be available this month exclusively at the Harvey Norman stores for a price of $649.This Harvey Norman exclusivity is only limited to a certain time, after that LG intends to release it as an open market device.
“Harvey Norman is excited to be working with LG to bring this great new device to the Australian market,” Harvey Norman GM for computers and communication, Ben McIntosh said.
LG Optimus 2x was recently listed in Guinness Book of World Records for being the first Mobile Phone with Dual Core Processor. Its other features include Android 2.2, 4 inch display, 8MP camera with 1.3 MP front cam and 8GB internal memory.
